Katy woman pleads guilty to poisoning dogs

The Katy woman, who was accused of poisoning her neighbor’s dogs in May, was sentenced to 2 ½ years of deferred adjudication Monday. Laurie Allen, 45, pled guilty to cruelty to animals after she mixed ibuprofen in Helena Diana-Mohammazad’s dogs’ food and placed it on the other side of the fence.
