Atlanta Braves' Hanson suffers mild concussion in auto accident

Atlanta Braves Starting Pitcher Tommy Hanson was recently involved in a car accident that left him with a mild concussion. According to The Sports Network, Hanson suffered a mild concussion and will miss a few days of spring training.

Whether a nationally recognized athlete or every day civilian, victims of car accidents should consult auto accident lawyers to handle the legal process and to gain proper compensation for any mental, physical or financial loss as a result of the accident.

Hanson had been on the way to spring training camp on Monday when his tire blew out and his head reportedly hit the steering wheel, Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez stated.

Hanson was rehabbing his shoulder during the offseason and reworking his delivery. The news source didn't mention whether the accident further affected his shoulder. However, if the wheel malfunction was a result of the auto manufacturer's negligence, a car accident lawyer could investigate the issue thoroughly and provide the victim with reparations.

Hanson was one of the Braves' best pitchers in 2011, until his shoulder began to fail him during the latter half of the season.
