Auto body painter awarded $4.68 million after critical 2008 auto accident

Although some cases may take years to settle, a persistent legal staff can appropriately compensate a client's suffering.

A Groveland trucking company was ordered to pay a victim $4.68 million following a major auto accident, The Daily Commercial reports.

A truck driver for the company allegedly changed lanes quickly and crashed into the back of the victim's 1990 Honda. The vehicle was lifted in the air and pushed forward on the highway, according to authorities.

Car accident attorneys for victim Hector Zuniga, claimed in the suit that their client was unable to return to work and sustained both physical and psychological damage as a result of the accident. Zuniga was awarded more than $3 million for lost wages, medical expenses and mental suffering.

The jury that awarded Zuniga with the compensation concluded that the victim's physical and mental issues could continue throughout the rest of his life.

This case took approximately 3.5 years to settle, and during such major accidents, it's recommended that a victim seek the services of a car accident lawyer to handle the legal process.
