Car crash victims' families sue bars, managers after fatal accidentby Graham Allchurch, February 1st, 2012 After an accident involving a drunk driver killed people from three families in Pennsylvania, the bars and managers that sold the alcohol to the driver prior to the crash are being sued by the victims' families, the Lehigh Valley Morning Call reports. According to the news source, Chad Horne, 22, Robin Villegas, 52 and Terri Buskirk, 43, were all killed in the January 2010 crash that Anthony Bruno allegedly caused by driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.23 percent. The lawsuits were filed by the families' car accident lawyers in Philadelphia County Court, and allege that Spectacor Management Group, which ran the outing Bruno was participating in before the crash, was negligent for continuing to serve Bruno alcohol even though has showed visible signs of intoxication. "Mr. Bruno stood up in court and took responsibility, but he's not the only one responsible for this," said one of the attorneys. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there were 406 drunk driving-related fatal car accidents in Pennsylvania in 2009, comprising 32 percent of all roadway deaths.
