Spinal Decompression Therapy For Back Pain Relief

by Peter Nero, July 8th, 2010

Spinal decompression is a non-surgical treatment that is used to treat disc injuries in the neck and in the lower back including bulging discs, herniated discs, pinched nerves, sciatica, radiating arm pain, and leg pain. This treatment option is considered to be quite safe and works by gently stretching the spine and taking pressure off compressed discs and vertebrae.

The Treatment provides gentle pressure on the disc through the use of a decompression table. Once you are placed on a table, a distraction force is applied to the targeted area of the spine. This pulls the spine apart and creates a vacuum between the vertebrae which allows the disc to reshape itself.

Millions of Americans suffer from debilitating back pain which are caused by common back injuries from work, vehicular accidents, slip and falls.
